The Hotels Have Hearts Gala Dinner is a pivotal event in the Matthew Talbot Homeless Services fundraising calendar.  Now in its seventh year and with over $2 million raised so far, this gala event raises much needed funds to support 30 homeless facilities and domestic violence refuges across metropolitan and rural NSW comprising Matthew Talbot Homeless Services. These services, including ‘lifeskills’ programs and education initiatives, help some of the most disadvantaged members of our community regain the self–esteem they need to work towards independent living.

In 2010 Hotels Have Hearts won a national award for Outstanding Community Service from the AHA, and with the support of the AHA NSW and valued industry sponsors and supporters were able to raise over $300,000 for Matthew Talbot Homeless Services. In 2012 we aim to surpass this amount and continue to make a positive impact on the lives of homeless men, women, families and youth.
